Chrysanthemum tea is actually a favourite of the drinks master. Drunk extremely cold on a hot day it is one of the best refreshers known to man. No, it does not involve shoving flowers in your kettle, nor snorting stamens from a test tube - it can be enjoyed straight from the box (like a kiddie in the playground.. but more adult like).
Not wholly convinced by this statement, reviewer B was tasked with taste testing this mighty floral treat. Yeo's blend was the boxed treat of choice. The result "a sweet organic dirt flavour". While not a wholly flattering description, the tea was enjoyed but was too sweet. The view was that herbal teas should not be sweet, but rather pungent with the rich taste of.. er.. herbs.
Nonetheless a quaff by the drinks master confirmed his unwavering position that chrysanthemum tea is sensational. The flavour is reminiscent of sunflower seeds drowning in a light cane sugar brew.
Whether uncle Yeo's brew is better or worse than his competitors is yet to be seen. Stay tuned for the chrysanthemum tea shoot out!
Would I recommend it to people I like - most definitely
Is it an acquired taste - maybe
Would I plant it in my garden - maybe.. but not if I actually wanted flowers to grow.

So is this tea a ready to drink one directly from the box? I am sure it will be useful and healthy to use this product.
